Moving backward

Backward criss cross

The Criss-Cross is one of the most spectacular ways of moving backwards.

If you make this movement correctly, the path of your rollerblades resembles a figure of eight.

Set your legs so that one leg is ahead of the other one and there is a short distance between the toes of your rear rollerblade and a heel of your front rollerblade. Slightly bend your legs.

Start performing the Criss-Cross from the variation of the Swizzle exercise, but try to always have one leg ahead and the other one behind at the “narrow” place of the “hourglass,” the distance between them should always be the same. During the movement, remember that the trajectories of the rollerblades should cross.
