Backward Toe Pivot
The Backwards Toe Pivot is one of the turns that is frequently used in Slalom. Backwards Toe Pivot is rather difficult and graceful turn.
At the moment of performing the Backwards Toe Pivot, your legs are as if they are tracing the movement of a compass’ legs: its one leg is supporting and the other one is revolving around it (on the circle). You should do the same.
At the beginning of performing the turn, you need to set the leg that is behind on your toes, thus preparing for the turn. After that, just move it aside and shift your weight to it. Now it is your supporting leg and the compass’ center. Use your other leg to subscribe a circle.
