180 degree turns
The Fast Turn is a rather difficult element.
It is the combination of Mohawk turn and the criss-cross.
The Fast Turn starts from the Mohawk turn, but unlike the ordinary Mohawk turn, here there is a quick changing of leg position.
At first, the leg that is ahead is supporting. At the moment of turning, when you start using the leg that is behind, shift your weight to it and immediately move your front leg to the initial position; here your weight is distributed evenly on both of your legs. Don’t forget to keep your legs half-bent and shoulder width apart.
After this turn do the criss-cross movement.
