180 degree turns
Jump 180° turn
The Jump U-TURN is a rather effective way to turn or to jump over an obstacle.
The Jump U-TURN resembles the Tow foot transition, but the main difference is that you turn 180 degrees while jumping and without any support.
To make this jump correctly, remember that your legs should be constantly in the position “one leg ahead and the other one behind”, and they should be shoulder width apart, because it will give you necessary stability.
You do the jump by pushing with your legs, but you can slightly help yourself with your hands. After turning, you should slightly bob down in order not to lose your balance and smooth the landing.
